Remembering Loved Ones 

This space is devoted to those bereaved by drug use connected with their loved ones time at higher education: from the tragedy of taking a one off tablet to those whose drug misuse at University led to addiction and death.  

It is a safe space for there loved ones to be remembered and for the victims of drug use not to be forgotten in the hope that others can share both the memories and the unbearable pain caused through drug use. 

It is the intention to link loved ones,  students, addiction charities and bereavement charities.

Memorials will be listed in order submitted and ultimately alphabetically.

Our Loved Ones

Daniel Mervis 

Passed away on 25 October 2019 aged 23 after an accidental overdose arising from an addiction which started while at Oxford University.

Devastatingly missed and deeply loved, irreplaceable brother his life a blessing in all our lives. His huge gentle heart, unmatched brilliance, insightfulness and laughter will be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. A brilliant academic and record holding power lifter he was unfailingly kind and  compassionate. (vegan) who was devoted to his family.

SafeCourse has been established in loving memory of Daniel and to reduce the chances of tragedy striking other families.
